Fall Clean-up-- several cleaning jobs will be available on Monday through Thursday mornings during the weeks of August 18 & August 25. Stop in and see what you can do!

Women's Day Away: Rest & Renew My Soul-- Women's retreat, Saturday, Sept. 6 at Trinity Lutheran in Ashland. Be inspired and share in music, prayer, and worship to renew your soul. Call the curch office for detail and contact information. Registration deadline has passed.
Happy 55th Anniversary St. Timothy! September 14 will be a full day for our congregation!! There will be one worship service at 9:30 AM with Holy Communion, reception of new members and special music. A meal will follow the service.

Saturday, Septenmer 27, 8:30- 10 AM. You can also order for October when you pick up your order. We are now a distribution site and
need more early morning volunteers. Call the church office for contact

Senior Vocal Choir and Handbell Choir-- starting soon; see Craig if you are interested in participating. Alternates are sometimes needed for handbells.
Fall Clean-up Day coming soon on a Saturday in September. We'll keep you posted!
Altar Guild: Members are needed to serve on Altar Guild. This service opportunity involves preparing the sanctuary for worship services. Specific tasks may include setting up and cleaning up Holy Communion, straightening the pews, changing the sancturay banners, preparing for other sacraments as they arise, and caring for altar linens. Call the church office for contact information and to learn how you can help!!
Altar Flowers:
There are still some openings for altar flowers. The cost is $30 for
two vases. Two families may split the cost for a Sunday if they wish to
do so. You can also opt to use the artificial arrangements and the
flower offering will go to the current fund. Openings for flowers on September 14 & 21.
Lutheran World Relief Collection for School Kits and Health Kits is sponsored by Women's Ministry. These items will be collected until Sunday, September 28. See the display in the narthex and take a list to help with shopping. Monetary offerings are used to purchase items needed to complete kits. The goal is to prepare 25 health kits and 25 school kits.
Scrub the Church Inside and Out-- There are still several jobs left to do. The can be completed on your own time. See the sheet posted in the narthex for things that still need done. Be sure to sign for those things you will do or have done.
Preschool registrations for the 2008- 2009 school year are being accepted. Call the church office for details.
Family Mailboxes are now being used to facilitate communication! Please check you box frequently for important information.
Children's Ministry-- Please pray for our Children's ministry so thet we can provide the best opportunites for our young people as they learn about the word and works of our Lord.
Value City Cards-- Remember to use your Value City Cards when you shop there. You get a discount on your purchase and the church gets rewards. Everybody wins!
Worship Leaders Needed:
Sign-up sheets are posted in the Narthex for individuals and families to serve as alter guild, greeters, ushers and layreaders for both worship services.
Food Pantry: The food pantry urgently needs restocked. Especially needed are canned goods, boxed meals, peanut butter and cereal. You can also donate any itemd from your Angel Food order that you do not plan to use.
Nursery Caregivers are needed for Sunday mornings . We currently have six teams of adults and youth, but could use more. Call the church office for contact information (419- 589- 5252).
Prayer Partners: In addition to our phone and e-mail prayer chains, we need to pray for the vision and ministries of our congregation. We need a coordinator and people to particiapte. If you are able to be a part of the important ministry, please speak with Pastor Bonnie or call the church office (419- 589- 5252).
Kroger Cards: Please remember to use your Kroger Gift Cards to buy groceries and gas. We get 5% of every purchase. If you do not have one yet, see Pastor for contact information.
